Mike Sommers
PRESIDENT - North Carolina
With 34 years of experience in construction, Mike Sommers serves as President of Stark Development, bringing a people-first approach to an industry built on trust and relationships. A framing carpenter by trade, Mike began his career working alongside his father before founding the company in 1999, initially focusing on framing carpentry and later transitioning into commercial construction in 2004. His early experience taught him the importance of organization, efficiency, and understanding the full scope of a project—recognizing that every decision impacts the trades and people who follow.
